Atlasglobal, which received the ‘4 Star Airline’ award of the independent aviation research company Skytrax, introduced its new cabin uniform. Within the scope of a project it started, a two-day design hackathon was organized between Dokuz Eylül University and İzmir University of Economics Department of Fashion and Textile Design with the slogan #HackOurStyle.
Among the students who presented their designs to the jury at the end of the intense hackaton, Yaren Eren’s design was chosen as the new cabin uniform of Atlasglobal. The young designer Yaren Eren explained the things that inspired her design as follows: “In this collection I prepared for Atlasglobal, my inspiration was paper planes, which we have been familiar with since childhood, symbolizing the passion for flying and discovering new places within us. Although it seemed like a simple game to fold and fly the papers we had when I was young, I think this was to watch the dreams that we embody were floating in the air. “
Murat Ersoy, Chairman of Atlasglobal, said the following about this special project that supports young people: “Our aim in this project; Turkey’s domestic and national airline, to show our confidence and opportunity to young Turkish administered, it was to prove what they can achieve. As a result of our care for innovations, we started a project for our university students, who are the guarantee of our country and future, to design our cabin uniforms. Our teams, who came together with our designer, who came first at the end of the busy hackathon period, worked with great care until they reached the smallest details so that the uniform can go into production. At the point we have reached, I see that you achieve absolute success at the end of the road that you walk with the right strategies, investments and above all with a great faith. “
